Job summary

Infosys Consulting seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, defining end-to-end architecture, integrations, and data migration. The role requires strong leadership in ERP roadmaps, governance, and client collaboration.

You will drive digital capabilities across platforms, APIs, AI, and IoT, while guiding pre-sales activities and complex delivery across large client engagements within a global consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP transformation experience
• Proven delivery capability in large SAP programs
• Practical application of project lifecycle principles (SAP Activate)
• Experience with solution and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge including IBP, MDG, etc.
• Ability to lead Agile-based design and delivery
• Strong client interaction and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Lead definition of the Solution Architecture for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (end-to-end design, integrations, data migration)
• Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and future needs
• Develop enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and related integrations
• Provide leadership on non-functional ERP roadmap and governance
• Drive digital capabilities to enable new business models
• Lead governance forums (Architecture Review Boards, Program Boards, Change Control Boards)
• Contribute to business development through proposals and RFIs/RFPs
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigations for architecture topics
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and internal resources

The Role Lead solution architecture for a S/4HANA based transformation program, addressing critical dimensions of business processes, data & analytics, applications, and technologies.

• Lead the definition of the Solution Architecture in challenging business transformation projects (overall solution design including end-to-end design, integrations, and data migration)
• Ensure that technical solutions, platforms, and systems satisfy business requirements and future needs
• Develop and implement an enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and a suite of new solutions including leadership of the ERP non-functional roadmap and related enterprise-wide integration requirements
• Provision digital capabilities to enhance and transform the business and to enable new business models
• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical solutions for focus areas e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, digital platforms, Cloud Integration, API Management, AI, Advanced Analytics and IOT
• Ensure a well-structured and defined solution architecture framework - delivering to time, cost, and quality and within budget
• Ensure adherence to solution governance and enterprise architecture principles and standards
• Lead and participate in key governance forums including Architecture Review Boards, Program Boards, Change Control Boards, and Integration Management meetings
• Active participation in business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to "Requests for Proposal" (RFPs) and "Requests for Information" (RFIs).
• Proactively manage, monitor, and report on the identification, impact, dependencies, risks, mitigations and implementation status of solution architecture topics and areas for improvement; and own the resolution of solution architecture issues
• Liaise with 3rd party providers and vendors as needed
• Manage internal consulting resources, 3rd party provider resources, and contract resources

Requirements

You design and manage complete enterprise solutions. You demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen.

• Extensive work experience in a consulting company, working in large-scale SAP transformation programs
• Proven delivery capability for large-scale SAP based transformation programs
• Practical application of project management life cycle principles and methodologies (SAP Activate, including key concepts like Model Company, SAP Value Lifecycle Management etc.)
• Experience with solution and enterprise architecture frameworks and models e.g. TOGAF
• Considerable SAP solution architecture, familiar with typical solution challenges in a large-scale transformation program
• Demonstrated skills in executing an Agile-based design and delivery approach
• Ideally experienced in process analysis and business process design approaches
• Solid understanding of major data objects and SAP enterprise structures
• Solid understanding of a range of SAP applications including S/4HANA, e.g. IBP, MDG, etc
• Solid understanding of applying technologies like Cloud, APIs, AI and IOT
• Experience in delivering SAP using a value-driven transformation approach
• Superior client interaction skills: ability to build trusted relationships to design and implement solutions for transformation programs jointly with clients.
• Ability to inspire, convince and to influence to be able to gain buy-in from senior business management and stakeholders
• Superior problem management skills (problem identification, structuring, resolution) and moderation skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitations skills
• Ability to collaborate within the Firm and to leverage existing resources
• Have experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences
• Project-related mobility/willingness to travel
