Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is urgently seeking an SC cleared SAP Security and Authorisations Controls Lead to support an SAP transformation. Location is North West with an ASAP start and a 12-month duration.

The programme moves many SAP apps to cloud platforms and requires strong governance of security, roles and access. The role involves overseeing role/user provisioning, auditing changes, and acting as the interface between business/IT and MSP for changes, including handling

Our client urgently requires an SC cleared SAP Security and Authorisations Controls Lead to support their SAP factory following an SAP transformation.

• LOCATION: NORTH WEST

The Programme is delivering a comprehensive portfolio of SAP upgrades and enhancements designed to create more efficient and value-added ways of working. These improvements are underpinned by a robust and resilient ERP landscape that will provide a scalable platform for the future. This program will transition many of the current internally hosted SAP Applications over to new applications built in the cloud and hosted on various platforms including Azure, SAP Sovereign and SAP Public Cloud.

As the landscape is vastly more complex than the Legacy SAP Landscape; We are seeking to internalise capability in order to technically own and manage all facets of Security, Authorisations and IT Control over the landscape. To this end a SAP Security and Authorisations Controls Lead will be responsible for assuring all Security, Authorisations and IT Controls aspects of the new landscape.

• Overall Responsibility for Role and User Set up Optimisation including Roles and User Provisioning across the SAP Landscape.
• Vetting User and Role change requests including compliance checks on User and Role Changes
• Act as an interface between users (Both Business and IT) and the MSP responsible for making changes in the systems both planned and unplanned.
• Be responsible for responding to and coordinating responses to Internal and external Audits and Licence Audits.
• Play a key role in the wide identify and Access management initiatives.

This position requires an SC cleared SAP Security and Authorisations Controls Lead with a deep understanding of SAP Security, Authorisations and IT Control technology and best practices. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and will play a critical role in assuring Roles, Access and IT Controls across the complex, multi-vendor, multi-platform SAP ecosystem.
