Job summary

NXA Talent Limited is recruiting an experienced SAP S/4HANA Programme Manager for an 8-month contract on a customer-side basis in Warrington. The role is hybrid with 1–2 days on-site per week and oversees assessment, business case development, mobilisation, execution, cutover, go-live and stabilisation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA upgrade programme.
• Develop the investment case, roadmap, funding submissions and delivery plan.
• Lead senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Technology.
• Establish programme governance, reporting, RAID and dependency management.
• Manage and hold delivery partners accountable for delivery, quality and outcomes.
• Lead assessment across processes, integrations, custom code, data, security and testing.
• Coordinate SAP RISE readiness and associated vendor dependencies.
• Drive business change, communications, training and adoption.
• Lead test strategy, cutover, go-live, hypercare and transition into support.
• Translate complex technical impacts into clear business decisions and actions.

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Programme Manager to lead a business-critical upgrade programme on a customer-side basis.

This is an 8-month contract offering the opportunity to take ownership across assessment, business case, mobilisation, execution, cutover, go-live and stabilisation.

Warrington – Hybrid, 1–2 days onsite per week

The Role

You’ll act as the customer-side Programme Lead and key point of accountability across the business, IT, SAP and third-party delivery partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA upgrade programme
• Develop the investment case, roadmap, funding submissions and delivery plan
• Lead senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Technology

About You

You’ll need significant experience leading complex, business-critical SAP programmes in a customer-side leadership capacity, with demonstrable ownership from assessment and business case development through to execution, cutover and stabilisation.

Strong executive stakeholder management is essential, alongside experience managing SAP, system integrators and multiple third-party vendors.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades, SAP RISE, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, logistics or warehousing would be highly desirable.
