Job summary

Focus on SAP is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead the technical architecture for a major S/4HANA transformation and SAP RISE project in London. The role requires defining architecture standards, governance, and ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, HANA, and cloud integrations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an SAP Technical Architect leading SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP Basis, HANA architecture, system landscape design and DR/HA planning.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, Fiori/UI5, OData and CDS views with leadership across dev teams.
• Proven experience in SAP integration architecture across CPI, PI/PO, REST/SOAP APIs, OData, IDocs and RFCs.
• Experience with SAP BTP, cloud-based extensions and governance across multi-vendor delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the end-to-end SAP technical architecture across S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, HANA, Basis and Fiori/UI5.
• Design scalable SAP landscapes across DEV, QAS, PRD and Disaster Recovery, with sizing, performance and resilience.
• Provide technical leadership across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, OData and CDS Views.
• Lead architecture reviews and performance optimisations in complex SAP environments.
• Define end-to-end integration architecture using CPI, PI/PO, REST/SOAP APIs, OData, IDocs and RFCs.
