Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with SAP S/4HANA implementation expertise to support strategic finance transformation programmes in Milton Keynes. This project-focused role acts as the Finance SME within delivery teams, ensuring accounting treatments, reporting and controls are designed, tested and implemented in new systems.

Qualifications

Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
SAP S/4HANA implementation experience within a finance function.
Strong understanding of General Ledger, Financial Reporting and Financial Controls.
Experience supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Experience with finance data migration, reconciliation and validation.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as the Finance SME within SAP S/4HANA and finance transformation programmes.
Support the definition and documentation of finance business requirements.
Review and challenge proposed system solutions to meet accounting and reporting needs.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and Project Teams throughout the lifecycle.
Assess the impact of system changes on downstream processes, reporting and controls.
Lead or support UAT testing, test scenarios and issue resolution.
Support data migration activities including validation, reconciliation and sign-off.
Develop future-state process maps, operating procedures and training materials.
Deliver knowledge transfer and training to finance stakeholders.
Provide updates and recommendations to Finance leadership and governance groups.
