SAP Role Specialist

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

£42,165 - £44,385 per year

35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Role Specialist to join our Technology team based in Worcester. The role sits within the End User Services, and will be a team of 2 within a wider team of 9 people. Working as a SAP Role Specialist you will create roles within SAP and other SAP related systems. You will be responsible for delivering technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties.

The role of SAP Role Specialist will include:
  • Analyse SAP role requests provided by SAP Functional Leads or from project design output, translate to technical requirements, and present solutions with cost and time analysis to business decision maker
  • Build and implement SAP roles, co-ordinate testing through SAP landscapes, providing remediation where necessary, adhering to the department's risk and change controls
  • Translate changes into operational requirements, ensuring documentation is complete, shared with the wider Service Request Team, and adopted successfully
Skills and experiences:
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level is essential
  • Comprehensive experience of undertaking a similar role in a large, complex organisation
  • Proven SAP experience in Customisations, Developments, Testing and Documentation
  • Substantial experience of analysing, diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • SAP Cross Module Integration knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
