Atos SAP practice in the UK&I is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect to lead cloud ERP transformations. You translate business strategy into scalable, secure, standard-aligned solutions and collaborate with customers, sales, presales and delivery teams to guide architecture decisions.

You will champion Clean Core, balance value with risk, and drive adoption through SAP Activate and strategic governance while mentoring colleagues across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Significant SAP solution architecture experience across ERP transformation programmes.
• Hands-on experience of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and related SAP Cloud ERP variants.
• Experience with DigitalDiscovery Assessments (DDA) and Fit-to-Standard approaches.

Responsabilités

About the role

As an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect, you will shape and govern cloud ERP transformations using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

You will translate business strategy and requirements into an integrated, fit-to-standard solution that is scalable, secure and aligned with SAP best practices. Working across the full opportunity and delivery lifecycle, you will partner with customers, sales, presales, functional and technical teams to provide architectural and functional leadership.

You will challenge unnecessary complexity and guide key decisions around standardisation, integration, data, security, analytics, extensibility and adoption, while promoting Clean Core principles and successful delivery using SAP Activate.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition programmes, leading discovery, solutioning and Fit-to-Standard workshops to translate business outcomes into a coherent target architecture and delivery roadmap.
• Define and govern the functional, integration, data, security, analytics and extensibility architecture, promoting standardisation and Clean Core principles while determining the appropriate use of in-app, side-by-side and partner solutions.
• Shape the use of SAP Business AI Platform (BAIP), integrations, workflows, APIs and extensions while maintaining the integrity of the core ERP solution.
• Provide architectural governance throughout design, build, test, deployment and hypercare, maintaining alignment across workstreams, design decisions, dependencies, risks and quality gates using SAP Activate.
• Support presales and customer engagement, including Digital Discovery Assessments, opportunity qualification, solution strategy, demonstrations, estimates, proposals, presentations and workshops, while acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

Skills we can’t do without

• Significant SAP solution architecture experience across ERP transformation programmes, with practical hands‑on experience of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP Cloud ERP or GROW with SAP, including experience completing a DigitalDiscovery Assessment (DDA).
• Strong knowledge of Fit-to-Standard, SAP Best Practices, SAP Activate and Clean Core, combined with broad cross-functional and end-to-end process understanding across areas such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales,Asset Management or Projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration, APIs, extensibility, identity and security, data migration and analytics, with knowledge of SAP BAIP.
• Proven ability to lead architectural and design-authority discussions, balance business value with architecture integrity, delivery risk and commercial considerations, and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting proposals, estimates, statements of work, delivery mobilisation and SAP solution demonstrations both virtually and in person.

Skills we'd like

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition or relevant SAP solution architecture certification, with experience of technologies such as SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Signavio, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business AI or Joule.
• Experience of three-tier ERP, public sector, manufacturing or other regulated-industry environments, together with an understanding of organisational change, business process transformation and adoption planning.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance.
• Location: UK-based. Remote working is available, with national mobility required.
• Experience working with third parties, SAP partners and distributed onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery teams would be beneficial.
