Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual to join our team of SAP consultants working as part of RunSAP Logistics Team, primary responsibilities on a day-to-day business are 3rd level incident support, problem analysis and resolution, and delivering SAP enhancements. The role requires a strong element of interpersonal skills working alongside team members and strong customer relations’ skills. Excellent personal organisation and prioritisation skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities. A desire and drive to deliver for our customers through first class solutions, whilst building strong and trusted customer relationships. Training will be provided for all systems required to perform the role.

Due to our clients, SC level Security clearable is mandatory for this position and as such we can only consider UK Nationals that have lived an worked in the UK for the past 5 years consistently. Unfortunately we are unable to consider dual nationals at this time.

What you will be doing
  • Advise and Support - working closely with our customers as SAP SME for MM / SD, knowledge of supporting SAP configuration and MM / SD business process. Acting as 3rd Line support to resolve incidents and problems.
  • Deliver Great Customer Service - build effective working relationships with colleagues, internal & external customers.
  • Deliver Change - working with our customers to
    • Gather and analyse requirements, define, validate, and design solutions.
    • Translate requirements into functional specifications, working with appropriate teams to comprehensively detail SAP Configuration, ABAP changes, Security requirements.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
    • Establish implementation / cutover plans and educate for ongoing support.
  • Identify Innovation Initiatives – Looking out for improvements for our customers, and for our internal processes.
We’re looking for people who have
  • Excellent knowledge in SAP configuration and understanding of business process in MM / SD SAP related experience.
  • Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office.
  • Strong personal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work at pace managing own workload to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to change focus quickly based on changing prioritisation.
Desirable Skills
  • SAP Certified, or a willingness to commit to a learning journey.
