Job title SAP HR Functional Consultant Ref 41422 Division Digital Location Hybrid - Clearwater Court - RG1 8DB Contract type Permanent Full/Part-time Full-time Hours 36 Salary Offering between £60,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience Job grade B Closing date 19/11/2025

As a SAP HR Functional Consultant, you will bring expertise in process analysis, process and system design, systems development, configuration, testing, implementation, and training.

You will support Projects and Product Teams to guide delivery, ensure solutions and specifications meet our quality requirements, and ultimately deliver the technology roadmap to support digital transformation. In addition, you will work closely with the Business Stakeholders to limit the customisation only to those that are differentiating and adopt best practice processes in those that are not.

What you’ll be doing as a SAP HR Functional Consultant
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand HR process requirements. Design and configure SuccessFactors modules, aligning the system with organisational needs while adhering to best practices.
  • Engage with business users to gather detailed functional requirements, translating them into system configurations that enhance HR processes.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing procedures to ensure system functionality, data integrity, and compliance with requirements. Address any issues identified during testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues encountered by users, collaborating with technical teams, if necessary, to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Provide ongoing support for end-users during the post-implementation phase, addressing inquiries, issues, and feedback.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Participate in Agile processes, such as daily stand‑ups and sprint planning, to ensure the successful delivery of project tasks within the team.
What you should bring to the role
  • Hands‑on experience implementing SuccessFactors solutions.
  • Proven track record in leading and participating in end‑to‑end project cycles — from design through delivery.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex HR needs into effective system solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — a collaborative team player who listens, shares insights, and contributes to a positive project environment.
  • Ability to identify pain points in HR processes and propose innovative, SAP‑driven solutions.
  • A foundational understanding of ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).
  • Proficiency in creating test scripts, performing system testing, and ensuring solutions meet defined requirements.
What’s in it for you?
  • Competitive salary from £60,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave – 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
  • Performance‑related pay plan directly linked to company performance measures and targets.
  • Generous Pension Scheme through AON.
  • Access to lots of benefits to help you take care of you and your family’s health and wellbeing, and your finances – from annual health MOTs and access to physiotherapy and counselling, to Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers and life assurance.
