James Adams is partnering with a well-established organisation at national scale, seeking an experienced SAP Functional Manager to build capability, lead a talented team and drive the next phase of their digital journey.

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee SAP delivery across multiple modules, manage third-party and offshore delivery partners, and shape the SAP roadmap while engaging senior stakeholders across a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP Functional teams in a large enterprise.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Broad SAP landscape knowledge incl. S/4HANA and modules.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and offshore teams.
• Exposure to SAP transformation or enterprise change programmes.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business needs into SAP delivery.

• Ensure governance, quality and compliance across SAP delivery.
• Collaborate with technical SAP teams while remaining accountable for functional delivery across multiple SAP modules.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance business processes through SAP.

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of SAP Functional Consultants, Business Analysts and Product Specialists.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience leading SAP Functional teams within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• A broad understanding of SAP landscapes, ideally including SAP S/4HANA and multiple functional modules.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and offshore teams.
• Exposure to SAP transformation or enterprise change programmes.
• The ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business needs into successful SAP delivery.
• Utilities or other highly regulated industry experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

Salary: Up to £85,000 (depending on experience) + annual bonus + additional benefits
