We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Analyst to join our team in London, supporting Finance and Controlling functions and collaborating with local Finance & Treasury, Tax, and Global Trading Operations teams. The role involves gathering business requirements (functional, technical, non-functional) and advising on SAP environment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver technology-driven business changes both independently and within a team
2. Work with SAP Capability, Finance & Treasury, Retail Finance, Tax, and Global Trading Operations teams to shape and implement strategic business changes
3. Engage with stakeholders to understand processes, develop business cases, document requirements, and create specifications with acceptance criteria
4. Plan, prioritize, and define high-level and detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for business changes
5. Coordinate with testing teams (unit, QA, UAT) to ensure solutions meet expectations and are successfully implemented
6. Support SAP Finance roadmap, contributing to small changes and projects within the annual Finance backlog

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC modules, including:

• Financial Accounting (FI): GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting (AA)
• Controlling (CO): CCA and assessments
• SAP Banking and electronic banking (e-banking)
• SAP Travel Management

Understanding of business processes in commodity trading or financial services, such as:

• P2P
• FI Invoicing to Cash
• Month-end closing
• Record to report
• Trade settlements
• IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments

Expertise in statutory, management, and group reporting

Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience with diverse teams

Knowledge of SAP change management practices

Strong understanding of period-end closing processes
