Job summary

Infosys Ltd. in London is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EWM consultant to lead end-to-end warehouse automation initiatives. You will design and deliver EWM with MFS across global deployments, aligning with business needs and automation requirements.

You will mentor teams, ensure delivery quality, and support presales while coordinating with MM/SD/PP integrations. The role emphasizes RF, wave, labor management, and secure go-live execution.

• Proven experience with SAP EWM MFS in highly automated warehouses.
• Deep understanding of automation scenarios (ASRS, conveyors, sorters, shuttle systems).
• Expertise in EWM configuration: warehouse structure, RF, monitoring, and exception handling.

• Own solutioning for automated warehouse processes and alignment with business requirements.
• Design and govern EWM–MFS integration for ASRS, conveyors, shuttle systems, and AMR/AGV automation.
• Configure core EWM processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements, wave management, RF).
• Drive testing, cutover, go-live support, and hypercare.
• Provide Principal Consultant leadership by mentoring teams and supporting presales.

Job description

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM with multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in SAP EWM MFS, specifically in highly automated warehouse environments.
• Deep understanding of automation scenarios involving ASRS, conveyor and sorter systems, shuttle-based storage, and AMR/AGV-driven operations.
• Expertise in core EWM configuration, including warehouse structure, strategies, WO/Wave, RF, monitoring, and exception handling.
• Proven experience mentoring teams and enforcing delivery excellence at scale.
• Ability to define warehouse structure, including storage types, bins, activity areas, and work centers.
• Experience configuring and optimizing picking, putaway, replenishment, cross-docking, and slotting.
• Experience implementing RF framework, mobile data entry, and warehouse execution processes.
• Experience configuring PPF, wave management, labor management, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4 modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Strong capability in MFS monitoring, telegram analysis, and issue resolution.
• Experience managing complex test cycles and leading customer UAT.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust, standard-aligned SAP solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with customer architects and plant or warehouse leadership.
• Experience leading large, global, or multi-country EWM programs is preferred.
• Exposure to advanced EWM functions such as slotting and rearrangement, labor management, kitting, and pack specification is preferred.
• Strong integration exposure with SAP TM, PP/DS, QM, and SD/MM is preferred.
• Experience engaging with leading automation vendors and WCS/PLC teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Infosys delivery governance is preferred.
• Prior involvement in warehouse modernization or brownfield-to-automation transitions is preferred.
• Strong documentation skills, including BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, and Training Material.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with structured defect and issue management.
• Presales and consulting mindset, including client advisory, value articulation, and roadmap definition.
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, and ChaRM.
