Job summary

A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join a high-security programme in Hampshire. This long-term role involves designing and implementing SAP solutions, including ABAP programming, and collaborating closely with clients. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming and experience in a client-facing environment, with a rate of up to £700/day.

Rate: Up to £700/day (via PAYE through an umbrella company)
Clearance Required: DV (Developed Vetting) – UK Nationals only

We’re seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join a high-security programme within a leading global consultancy. This is a long-term opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming
• Develop Gateway OData Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, RFCs, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, and Web Services
• Performance tuning and transformation development
• Collaborate with clients and suppliers to deliver robust SAP solutions
• Support testing and assist with user acceptance testing
• Review and produce design specifications

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SAP PO/PI
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills
