Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Pontypridd is recruiting a Christmas Event Team Member (Welsh Speaking) to deliver Santa's Toy Mine at Rhondda Heritage Park. You will greet families, engage with children, and provide excellent service in Welsh and English, helping manage visitor flow and maintain a safe, festive atmosphere.

The role is a 1-month seasonal contract with approx 260 hours across the event period. Welsh language fluency is essential, as well as experience in customer-facing roles,

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with families visiting Santa's Toy Mine.
• Support Santa in delivering a magical and memorable festive experience.
• Act as main contact when groups are handed over by the Elf team.
• Communicate confidently with children and adults in both Welsh and English.
• Help manage visitor flow through the Christmas experience.
• Create a fun, friendly and professional environment for all visitors.
• Support event operations and visitor experience activities.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the Christmas event runs smoothly.
• Promote a safe, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the attraction.

1 Month Seasonal Contract

Job Purpose

As a Christmas Event Team Member (Welsh Speaking), you will play a key role in delivering a magical festive experience at Santa's Toy Mine at Rhondda Heritage Park. Working alongside Santa and the Elf team, you will engage with families and children, helping to create memorable Christmas experiences while providing excellent customer service in both Welsh and English.

• Act as the main point of contact when groups are handed over by the Elf team.

• Help manage the flow of visitors through the Christmas experience.
  
• Create a fun, friendly, and professional environment for all visitors.
  
• Support event operations and visitor experience activities.
  
• Work as part of a team to ensure the successful running of the Christmas event.
  
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the attraction.

Additional Information to Note

• Working hours: Approximately 260 hours across the event period.
  
• Reason for Hire: One-Off Event / Christmas Project.
  
• Weekend shifts attract enhanced pay rates.
  
• Hours and shifts will be allocated according to the event schedule.
  
• On-site interview and site tour.
