Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is recruiting for Santa's Elves / Seasonal Characters. You will greet guests, lead festive activities and help run events such as Santa's Greetings and Brunch with Santa, all while fostering a magical Christmas atmosphere.

Roles include full-time or part-time shifts from 1:00pm to 9:00pm or 4:00pm to 9:00pm, with annualised or fixed-term contracts during peak periods. DBS clearance is required before starting, and the team is dedicated to delivering joyful

• Performs well under pressure with a cheerful, enthusiastic and approachable attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to build rapport with children and adults.
• Enthusiasm for the Christmas / seasonal spirit.
• Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting.

Santa's Elves / Seasonal Characters

Whinfell Forest | £12.87per hour

Create festive magic for every guest

Join the magic of Christmas and help create unforgettable festive experiences! You'll play a key role in spreading Christmas cheer, delivering exceptional customer service and making every guest smile through magical seasonal activities.

What you'll be doing

• Welcome and engage guests in Santa's Woodland Workshop and Winter Wonderland
• Deliver cheerful entertainment and elfish antics to delight children and families
• Support in seasonal events including Santa's Greetings and Brunch with Santa
• Maintain a joyful atmosphere and uphold the spirit of Christmas

Your working hours

• Full-time and part-time contracts available, with shifts falling between 1:00pm to 9:00pm or 4:00pm to 9:00pm, working 2 or 3 days a week
• We are offering a number of annualised and fixed-term (until 24th December 2026) contracts for this role, whereby you'll be required to work a minimum amount of hours per year across our peak holiday periods or over a 4-week period
• This role includes various shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays
