Job summary

British Garden Centres is seeking a warm, jolly Santa Claus to bring the Christmas magic to our visitors at Ramsgate. You will greet families, listen to children’s wishes, pose for photos, and maintain the iconic Santa image while delivering a memorable festive experience.

Experience in acting or customer care is helpful, with flexible weekend availability and the ability to work across December. Free car parking is provided and the rate of pay is negotiable based on experience.

This is an exciting time of year we provide a legendary Christmas experience where we run a wonderful meet with Santa, which will be as magical as ever this year.

We are looking for a warm, Jolly, and charismatic individual to embody the spirit of Santa Claus. You will support the magical experience for children and families being the guest of honour during our meet with Santa.

Your role will involve Greeting families, listening to children’s wishes, posing for photos, eating provided breakfast with the families and maintaining the iconic Santa image throughout all interaction.

We would like to hear from those who love the spirit of Christmas to wear the special red suit and deliver the magic of Christmas to our customers of all ages.

As Santa, and alongside your team of elves, you will be responsible for creating memorable visits by talking to children within one of our magical grottos.

From the moment you step into the suit you will become Santa himself. asking children about their Christmas list, you’ll have the confidence to spread happiness and fulfil the imagination of children of all ages.

This will Involve late nights & early mornings must be able to work Saturdays and Sunday.

Experience would be preferred.

Must be able to commit to working throughout December.

Santa Requirements:

A warm enthusiastic personality

Greet children and adults courteously, creating a magical and memorable visit.

Listen patiently to Christmas wishes, ask what they want, and maintain an authentic, warm persona.

Hand out seasonal presents and work alongside helper elves.

Maintain an open and friendly posture for family photo opportunities.

Naturally cheerful, kind, gentle, and enthusiastic about the Christmas spirit.

Ability to sit for long periods, interact dynamically, and remain upbeat during peak holiday hours.

Formal acting or customer care experience is helpful.

Bonus points if you look like the man himself!
