Job summary

Subway IP Inc. is seeking motivated team members to join our Subway® stores as Sandwich Artist™. You will prepare and serve Subway® sandwiches, greet guests, and deliver exceptional customer service, helping to drive repeat visits.

You will be the face of the franchise, with opportunities to develop toward supervisory and managerial roles as you build experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or customer service is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to meet Subway® brand standards and health/safety requirements.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate the till and handle cash or card transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock checks.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures to protect staff and guests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable workspace and uniform appearance.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and product knowledge.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations

• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As aSandwich Artist™ you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studyingand are looking to start a career in the food industry.
