Job summary

Barclays is seeking an experienced Change Delivery Lead for a major Sanctions Control Environment project within its Integrated Financial Crime Change Programme in London and Glasgow. The role owns end-to-end planning and implementation to translate regulatory expectations into prioritised remediation and sustainable control improvements.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership of complex change, remediation or control enhancements in a large financial institution.
  • Strong practical knowledge of financial crime and sanctions control environments.
  • Experience of control environment examinations and translating findings into remediation.
  • Delivery across multiple businesses and senior stakeholders, including First and Second Lines of Defence.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into defined deliverables, accountable ownership and credible plans.
  • Strong governance, risk, issue and dependency management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sanctions control environment project from examination through to closure.
  • Plan and deliver examinations against FCA Systems & Controls expectations.
  • Translate findings into control assessments, remediation plans and governance.
  • Coordinate policy, process, data, technology and operations activities.
  • Design and implement proportionate, sustainable improvements.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability from regulatory expectation to closure.
  • Provide concise senior reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and blockers.
