Are you ready to lead a high-performing team delivering accurate and timely sampling services across Anglian Water? As Sampling Manager, (Projects) you will oversee a team of Samplers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality management systems. You will play a key role in managing training, development, and operational efficiency, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet business priorities.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will be responsible for balancing service delivery, cost, and quality, while supporting strategic initiatives and maintaining compliance with ISO standards. Your contributions will help ensure the health and safety of our communities and the environment through effective sampling operations.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Samplers, ensuring competency, training, and development are maintained.
  • Collaborate across the business to deliver sampling requirements aligned with customer demand and regulatory standards.
  • Manage local budgets and performance to support strategic business priorities and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory standards such as ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
  • Support operational management including scheduling, incident response, and data accuracy in LIMs systems.
  • Participate in external audits and provide assurance data to regulators and accreditation bodies.
