Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to define end-to-end Salesforce architectures, lead technical strategy and ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise objectives. You will drive pre-sales activities, RFP responses, demonstrations and architecture workshops across UK clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years' Salesforce experience, deep knowledge of Core Cloud products, CPQ, MuleSoft, and a proven track record transforming complex

About the Role

As Salesforce Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end Salesforce architectures, leading technical strategy and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with wider enterprise objectives.

You will also play a key role in our pre-sales and business development activities, contributing to RFPs, leading customer demonstrations and facilitating discovery and architecture workshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise architecture and technical strategy for Salesforce transformation programmes.
• Design and govern complex, scalable Salesforce solutions across the wider technology landscape.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, governance frameworks, design principles and best practices.
• Lead and contribute to RFPs, tenders, proposals and pre-sales engagements.
• Deliver compelling Salesforce demonstrations, discovery sessions and customer workshops.
• Translate business and industry requirements into effective Salesforce-led solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across Salesforce Core Clouds, CPQ, MuleSoft and associated Salesforce technologies.
• Work closely with Salesforce Developers and Architects, providing technical direction, mentoring and leadership.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet agreed quality, security and governance standards.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders and confidently communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support the continuous development of our Salesforce architecture capability, methodologies and standards.

About You

You will be a highly experienced Salesforce professional with 10 years of Salesforce experience, combined with strong enterprise architecture credentials and a proven track record of working on complex transformation programmes.

You will ideally bring:

• Extensive experience as a Salesforce Enterprise / Solution Architect.
• Strong understanding and practical application of TOGAF and enterprise architecture principles.
• Proven experience in Salesforce pre-sales, RFP responses, demonstrations and workshops.
• Deep Salesforce expertise across Salesforce Core Cloud products, CPQ, MuleSoft and related technologies.
• Strong industry knowledge within Retail, Telecoms, Insurance and/or Education.
• Experience leading teams of Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Architects.
• A track record of establishing and implementing architecture governance and standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to operate confidently at both strategic and technical levels.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications, with multiple certifications highly desirable.
• The flexibility to travel to customer and project locations across the UK.
