Job description

Salesforce Developer – London, Public Sector

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Delivery team in London, focusing on clients in the Public Sector Domain. The Salesforce Developer builds on and extends the capabilities of the Salesforce platform. You will use the full arsenal of tools and components within Salesforce, including Flows, OmniScript, Apex and LWC. While you will report into your project leads, you can expect some level of client and project stakeholder interaction. Please note, you must either have Full UK Security Clearance (SC) or be able to attain it to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Salesforce Industry cloud Development and Deployment using the Public Sector Solutions cloud solution.
• Work collaboratively and promote adherence to the established quality plan.
• Implement Salesforce Flows (screen flows, triggered flows, API flows) to a high standard.
• Implement Public Sector Solutions features and tools including OmniScript, FlexCards, Action Plans and Document Generation tooling.
• Develop custom Apex classes and LWC components where needed.
• Drive use of tools to improve productivity and performance.
• Consolidate, convey and implement functional, technical and methodological knowledge from projects.
• Align solutions with market trends, incorporate best practices, and ensure sustainability over time.
• Support delivery of balanced solutions (demand/viability).
• Build, test and document structural elements of the solution.
• Resolve complex problems related to expertise area.
• Act as expert point of contact for the client’s equivalent areas.
• Define work standards or methodologies adapted to the solution.
• Manage Git version control of CI/CD deployment pipeline.
• Use Jira / Confluence or equivalent workflow/documentation tools.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator

Experience

• 3+ years of Salesforce Industry development experience preferred.
• Public Sector Solutions and Omnistudio experience required.
• Day-to-day development/configuration in Salesforce Industries Cloud.
• Experience with Data Mappers (Data Raptors) and Omni Processes (Integration Procedures).
• OmniScripts and skills in Apex (triggers, batch, web services).
• Integration Experience (Mulesoft, APIGEE, Connected Apps) beneficial.
• Experience with JavaScript/Lightning components.
• Basic understanding of Apex sharing and security model.
• Experienced with Lightning Web Components.
• Strong analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
• Automated testing experience (Provar, Selenium) desirable.
• Understanding of large/complex systems and ability to review existing implementations for enhancement.
• Teamwork as part of a small Agile team, collaborating and supporting others.

Clearance

Security clearance will be required for this role. Candidates must confirm they have or are willing to attain current or previous SC clearance.
