Job summary

Understanding Recruitment NFP is partnering with a well-known UK-wide charity to hire a Salesforce Engineer who will take technical ownership of the Salesforce platform, guiding its ongoing development, integration and improvement. You will work across Sales and Service Cloud in a complex environment, shaping how the platform evolves as part of a technology transformation.

The role is ideal for someone with hands-on Salesforce engineering experience who can own technical solutions, integrations

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on Salesforce engineering experience.
• Ability to own technical solutions and platform health.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales and Service Cloud.
• Build and govern Apex code, including classes, triggers and SOQL queries.
• Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Own platform performance, security, resilience and architecture.
• Work in a complex org with Salesforce at business-critical level.
• Desirable experience with Nonprofit Cloud/NPSP, Marketing Cloud, or related tools.

I’m partnered with a well-known UK-wide charity who are looking to hire a Salesforce Engineer to take technical ownership of their Salesforce platform and support its ongoing development, integration and improvement.

This is a great opportunity to join a large organisation where Salesforce is a business-critical platform, working across a complex environment and helping shape how the platform develops as part of a wider technology transformation.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands‑on Salesforce engineering experience who is comfortable owning technical solutions, integrations and the ongoing health of the platform.

The Salesforce Engineer will:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales and Service Cloud
• Build and govern Apex solutions, including classes, triggers and SOQL queries
• Design and manage integrations between Salesforce, external APIs and wider business systems
• Take ownership of platform performance, security, resilience and technical architecture
• Have strong experience supporting and developing Salesforce within a complex organisation
• Ideally have experience with Nonprofit Cloud/NPSP, Agentforce, Data 360 or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
