About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Salesforce Technical Lead to join a growing Salesforce delivery team, leading the design and implementation of complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys being both a strategic leader and hands-on engineer. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within structured governance and security environments, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will play a key role in driving engineering standards, mentoring developers, managing technical risk, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support estimation, delivery planning, forecasting, and risk management activities.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, testing best practices, security standards, and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges while proactively managing delivery risks.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor and support developers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical decision-making across programmes.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including technical leadership on large-scale enterprise implementations.

• Experience designing and optimising business processes through technology-led transformation initiatives.
• Ability to lead workshops, present technical solutions, and advise stakeholders on platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments.
• Knowledge of GDPR, FOIA, and public sector transformation programmes.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
• OmniStudio Developer or Consultant
• Application Architect
• Other advanced Salesforce certifications
