Role Profile

Cast UK is supporting a growing established family-owned business with a fantastic culture in their recruitment of a Sales Support Executive. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll take ownership of accounts and provide excellent account management whilst controlling the consumables requirements for customers. The role is Monday to Friday and based onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through account management, building relationships with account base and understanding their needs & requirements
  • Assist with customer queries across phone & email
  • Work closely alongside Sales Directors / Account managers to develop understanding of upcoming forecasts & new customers
  • Monitor orders email inbox and process sales orders
  • Liaise with suppliers, with awareness of lead times, to ensure stock availability balances customer requirements.
  • Demand forecast, help to plan future deliveries in line with customer usage
  • Generate purchase order acknowledgements
  • Prepare daily picking list for warehouse staff and relevant transport info for 3PL providers
  • Ensure BRC policies are adhered to
  • Ensure compliance to unique customer requirements and relevant HMRC legislation
  • Check pricing from suppliers and customers to maintain accurate margins
  • Monitor daily stock movements and take action proactively
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally within a distributor environment
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers
  • Can-do attitude and natural problem solver
  • System savvy - experience of Sage and Phocas would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Team player, willing to support with other areas / departments as needed
