About the Role

My client is looking for a motivated, people-focused Insurance Sales & Support Agent to join their fully remote team. They are a fast-growing and forward-thinking online UK-based business that provides insurance solutions designed to protect small businesses and self-employed professionals.

This is a phone-based sales and support role that blends warm inbound sales, proactive outreach, and partner relationship management.

You’ll be responsible for supporting prospective and existing clients, managing introducer relationships, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries from small businesses seeking insurance quotes and guide them to suitable cover.
• Conduct follow-up calls with warm leads and potential clients who have shown interest but not yet purchased.
• Identify, onboard, and manage introducer partners such as training schools or professional associations.
• Conduct outbound calls to engage new businesses in need of insurance protection.
• Provide support to existing customers, including renewals, policy changes, and general assistance.
• Collaborate with the customer service and marketing teams to optimise sales performance and partner engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with FCA and company standards.

Requirements

• Native-level English fluency with an excellent, professional phone manner.
• Proven experience in insurance sales or account management, ideally within commercial, professional indemnity, public liability, or medical malpractice insurance.
• A confident, consultative sales approach with strong communication and objection-handling skills.
• Highly organised, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Familiarity with CRM or web-based systems (training provided).
• Understanding of FCA compliance requirements (training provided).
