Reports to: Head of New Business Sales – Microsoft Sales Specialist

Location: Role can be based from Manchester, Leeds, or Reading (Remote working available)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Focus of the role:

We seek a Sales Specialist with deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The main goal is to increase sales of BCN’s Business Central services to new and existing customers.

You will focus on acquiring new logos, working closely with marketing and the Business Central team, leveraging your product and industry knowledge to develop strategies and partnerships that generate new business. Building strong relationships with Microsoft’s Business Central sellers to position BCN as a leading partner and to be top of mind for referral and co-sell opportunities is crucial.

For existing customers, BCN’s growth means many opportunities for Business Central sales. You will maximize sales in this area by raising awareness among the sales team, enabling them with knowledge of use cases, discovery questions, and storytelling. Proactively identifying potential accounts and facilitating discovery meetings will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual targets for new Business Central customer acquisitions.
  • Deliver sales enablement and training to account management teams to build a strong pipeline of cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support account management throughout the sales process to maximize cross-sell success.
  • Build productive relationships with Microsoft Business Central sellers and teams.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with organizations providing additional routes to market.
  • Represent BCN at industry events to enhance our reputation as Business Central experts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, advising on necessary adjustments to remain competitive.
  • Manage forecasts and updates proactively in Dynamics 365 Sales.
  • Complete Microsoft Learn and sales training, including exams.

Person, Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Experience managing sales processes, especially new logo acquisition.
  • Relevant experience selling Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions (GP, NAV/BC, AX).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM software.
  • Organized, solution-oriented, detail-driven, and able to prioritize.
  • Self-motivated, efficient under pressure, with a successful track record in sales achievement.
  • Positive attitude, sense of urgency, and strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and clients at various levels.
  • Independent worker with flexibility to adapt and manage change.
