Job Description

As Sales Representative you will identify new customers for repair/remanufacturing service offering through onsite customer visits; you will assess customer assets and recommend appropriate solutions and new products to improve customer efficiencies and their operations. Achieve sales goals of revenue/job count and identification of new customers.

This role is for North region of UK. You will report to Sales Manager, Lektronix.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and manage a geographical area to maximise its sales potential.
  • Develop and implement our sales strategy following our goals.
  • Identification, profiling, analysis and implementation of new business opportunities in regional Market
  • Contribute to the ongoing planning of our sales and marketing and business development strategies.
  • Attract and retain suitable partners and agents to promote and sell our service and product range.
  • Contribute to new product/service development, promotion/distribution, customer care and our approach to quality through the presentation of customer feedback.
  • Develop, update and maintain a database of existing and potential customers.
  • Coordinate and follow-up on existing leads initiate contact, create new leads and bring on new customers.
  • Demonstrate the technical ability of our services and products to potential customers.
  • Provide regular information to assist management with decision-making, including weekly sales and prospecting reports.
  • Make recommendations to management on business development activity.
  • Help with after sales queries, investigate customer complaints, and ensure that they are dealt with to the customers' satisfaction.
Essentials
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • An organised approach to work and record-keeping
  • Confidence with the MS Office package at a level beyond basic competence
  • Driving license
Preferred
  • Degree in sales, marketing or business related discipline
  • Experience of Selling to business customers in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of industrial electronics at a basic level
