Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Act as the main point of contact for all customer queries
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through area sweeps
  • Price enquiries and tenders according to company policy
  • Monitor daily deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and market trends
  • Liaise closely with internal departments
  • Handle customer complaints and invoice queries promptly
  • Promote new plants and products to customers
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
  • Provide customer credit information to the credit control team
  • Entertain customers as per company policy

Skills

Experience in Field Sales within concrete or construction materials field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities
Highly organised with effective time management skills

Solid understanding of concrete products and admixtures

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Sales Representative – Ready Mixed Concrete for our client based in Glasgow

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded sales professional to join a leading supplier in the construction materials sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising all sales opportunities within their area, managing existing client relationships, and identifying new business prospects to maintain and grow market share. This role plays a vital part in driving revenue and delivering technical expertise to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
