About the Opportunity: Trafalgar Talent Ltd is acting on behalf of a fast-growing renewable energy company that’s disrupting the commercial solar space with a UK-first PPA model.

The Role

This is not your typical sales job. It’s commission-only, no salary, no safety net. But if you’ve got the hunger, the resilience, and the ability to self-generate business, the rewards are life-changing.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and closing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), a model where businesses pay only for the energy they use at a fixed, affordable rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting and cold calling SMEs, industrial estates, and commercial premises
• Door-to-door canvassing, networking, and outbound campaigns
• Building and managing your own pipeline across the UK
• Taking deals from first contact through to signed PPA agreements
• Representing a market-unique renewable energy solution to decision-makers

What We’re Looking For

This role is for fearless hunters, not order‑takers. You don’t need solar experience; we’ll provide training but you do need to prove you can generate and close B2B business.

Essential

• Proven track record in field-based B2B sales
• Strong cold calling and new business development skills
• Experience generating your own leads and managing a territory
• Confident communicator with the ability to open doors and build credibility quickly
• Results‑driven, resilient, and entrepreneurial, thriving on uncapped earnings

Desirable

• Experience in telecoms, utilities, financial services, or other consultative sales
• Knowledge of renewable energy or PPAs
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
