The company is a fast‑growing, innovation‑led provider of industrial equipment rental and tooling solutions, recognised for quality, service and safety. As the Power & Tools division expands, the company is hiring a Sales Manager (Small Plant & Tooling) to drive new business and develop existing accounts across Scotland. This field‑based role focuses on Industrial Power & Tools and Welding Solutions—building relationships, uncovering opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to customers across the region.

- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on experience)

- Location/territory: Scotland (field‑based with regular travel)

Responsibilities of the role
- Identify, qualify and secure significant volumes of new business through proactive prospecting, disciplined follow‑up and skilled negotiation.
- Grow, manage and retain a portfolio of customers, building long‑term relationships for mutual success.
- Develop deep product and service knowledge across Industrial Power & Tools and Welding Solutions to effectively differentiate against competitors.
- Lead and support marketing initiatives, including targeted campaigns, product launches and trade shows across the region.
- Consistently deliver against ambitious revenue and activity targets, accurately forecasting pipeline and results.
Requirements (what you'll bring)
- Proven success in technical field sales, ideally within equipment rental, construction, industrial tools or welding.
- A genuine passion for prospecting and converting new clients into sustainable, high‑quality business.
- High levels of drive, resilience and organisation—strong time management, verbal/written communication and IT proficiency.
- Educated to degree level or evidence of equivalent professional success and progression.
- Full UK driving licence; based within the territory and willing to travel widely throughout Scotland.
