Overview

Vanrath is bringing an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a fast-growing IT company headquartered in Belfast (the role is mostly remote with the odd trip to office).

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and developing the sales function, managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and driving new business growth across key sectors.

Salary

£50,000 - £55,000 + Commission

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives, setting clear performance targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Support the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to qualification and handover to senior sales or account management teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, outreach; Monitor sales metrics and pipeline performance, providing regular reporting and insight to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership or team management role within SaaS/technology.
  • Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive performance.
  • A proactive, target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding commercial goals.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Background in scaling or developing SDR teams.
