The role of the Sales Manager – Height Safety Systems will involve:

  • Managing and leading a team of three Business Development Managers.
  • Representing the company at events, meetings and presentations.
  • Selling the installation of height safety systems to property & facility managers, contractors and end users such as schools and commercial clients.
  • Setting standards and targets for the sales team.
  • Monitoring and managing a pipeline of on-going and upcoming tenders.
  • Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and proposing appropriate solutions for projects.
  • Tracking and following up on quotes sent out by the estimating team.
  • Project sizes ranging from £25,000 to £1m.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Strong people management experience within sales, sales management or senior sales experience.
  • Experience working for a sub‑contractor selling height safety solutions or within a related industry such as fire, security, lightning protection, electrical, etc.
  • Strong proven leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot software.
  • Hungry and motivated to succeed.
  • Strong computer fluency.
  • Confident phone communication with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
