Sales Manager - Northern Ireland
Location: Field-based across NI | Salary: Competitive | Hours: Full-time (4-day week trial post-probation)

We are working with a leading provider of automotive and vehicle services in Northern Ireland, seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow their sales function. This is a permanent, field-based role reporting to the Operations Director, offering the chance to drive strategy, revenue, and team performance across a diverse client base including repairers, car dealers, brokers, taxis, recovery agents, and vehicle fleets.

The Role:

You will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets. Leading a small sales team, you will manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and ensure sustainable revenue streams. You'll collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, exceed customer expectations, and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a full sales strategy, including account and category planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high‑performing sales team to achieve targets.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients across multiple sectors.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and revenue performance to inform strategy.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and insights for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Uphold the company's values, vision, and reputation in all business interactions.
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 6 years' sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team development skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Data‑driven, with experience using sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Experience in automotive services, accident management, or related industries advantageous.
  • Full driving licence and access to transport.
Desirable:
  • Third‑level qualification in sales, business, or marketing.
  • Knowledge of the NI motor or insurance industry.
