Company Overview

A leading Foodservice organisation operating across the UK and Ireland, with a total business turnover exceeding £200M and multiple depots including a major facility in Glasgow. The business supplies over 5,000 products across frozen, chilled, ambient, and non-food categories, maintaining a strong reputation for quality and service.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing sales within an assigned territory, targeting customers in the hospitality, catering, and Foodservice sectors. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving agreed sales and business development targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined regional territory to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while securing new business.
  • Promote the company's full product range across Foodservice categories.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate reporting on sales activity, market trends, and competitor activity.
