Salary: £75,000 £100,000 basic £150,000 £200,000 OTE

Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM

The Role

We re looking for a high-energy, performance-driven Sales Manager to lead our team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) in engaging with owners and decision-makers of trades businesses including plumbing, heating, electrical, construction, and building sectors to secure their attendance at our £97 Discovery Day events.

This is a hybrid role, combining strong leadership with hands‑on sales execution. You ll manage and motivate your team remotely via Zoom/Teams, while also personally contributing to sales and driving results. This isn t just a management position it s a role for a money-driven, sleeves‑rolled‑up sales leader who thrives on both leading and selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of BDMs to consistently achieve our monthly target of 400 event attendees across 12 Discovery Day events.
  • Personally execute and sell actively engage with leads, close deals, and set the pace for your team s performance.
  • Manage and support your team through virtual platforms (Zoom/Teams), maintaining a high-performance, high-accountability culture.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to align campaigns, optimise lead flow, and maximise conversions.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, implement improvements, and drive team success.
  • Foster a competitive, energetic sales environment that rewards excellence and results.
About You
  • Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally within a fast‑paced or event‑driven environment.
  • A hands‑on leader who leads by example not afraid to pick up the phone and close deals yourself.
  • Target-focused and financially motivated, with a relentless drive to exceed goals.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and remote management skills.
  • Confident using CRM systems, digital tools, and online meeting platforms.
