We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven and hands‑on sales specialist to join our sales and bid management team in the UK market and other markets as allocated. This role combines proactive existing customer engagement as well as new customer acquisition with focusing on generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering winning proposals. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth with existing customers and new customers, with the potential to take on a broader regional scope in the future.
Prospecting and lead generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging CRM tools, market research, existing customers and industry networks to generate high-quality leads and expand the customer base. This includes hands‑on approach by reaching out to customers by phone and other communication means but also being on the road to meet them in person.
Relationship management: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with potential and existing customers, partners, and key stakeholders (e.g., PTA, PTO, Ministry, Industry Organisations), attending industry events and collaborating with marketing to strengthen partnerships. Identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
Sales presentations and negotiations: Deliver compelling product/service presentations tailored to customer needs, represent the company at exhibitions, and negotiate terms and pricing to secure deals, collaborating with sales, technical and product teams as needed.
Bid management: Oversee the end‑to‑end bid process, from analysing bid requirements to submitting competitive proposals. Ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, pre‑sales), and track bid outcomes to refine future submissions.
Market analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in UK and potentially nearby markets to inform sales strategies.
Reporting and forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure seamless execution of bids and customer solutions.
