Sales Manager

Location: UK wide/Remote/Hybrid working

Salary: £40-50k DOE, Company car, Bonus

We are currently working with this growing engineering business to assist in their recruitment of a sales manager. Working directly with the Sales Director you will be responsible for developing new business and revenue streams. The business is open to receiving applications from experienced sales profesionals from within the engineering sector or from maintenance engineers or fitters looking to transition into a sales role. What will be essential is your ability to understand the needs of the customer and develop suitable solutions.

The job

Though HQ'd in South Yorkshire the business works with clients nationally and as such the role can be based anywhere in the UK. Typically you would expect to work from the office or home one or 2 days a week with the rest of your time 'on the road' meeting with clients and prospective customers.

  • Experience/Knowledge of machinery within industries such as biomass/cement/glass/waste would be hugely beneficial.
  • Use engineering knowledge to expand/develop and sell reverse engineering solutions
  • Use technical skills to understand the problems and challenges facing engineers in order to sell solutions and suggest products
  • Use your metallurgical knowledge to sell solutions to engineers
  • Creating sales pipelines and reports
