Overview

Michael Page are supporting an Engineering & Retail organisation in Halifax with a brand new permanent Sales Ledger Clerk opportunity. Reporting into the Head of Accounts Receivable, you will own the sales ledger activity with key duties around payment plans and chasing aged debt. The position is salary up to £28,000 per annum and joining an existing team with great company benefits.


Responsibilities


  • Own the sales ledger function including answering queries, sales ledger administration, chasing aged debt and raising credit notes.

  • Inter-company reconciliations (training can be provided).

  • Arrange payment plans and assist with setting up new accounts.


Profile


  • Open to candidates qualified by experience; previous or current experience of sales ledger is needed.

  • Experience in chasing aged debt, admin, creating new accounts and dealing with queries.

  • Inter-company reconciliations experience is highly desirable.

  • Can commit to 5 days in office per week.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong eye for detail.
