Overview
Predominantly, you'll be at the forefront of growing our weddings and events business by maximising enquiry conversion, generating new leads, and ensuring every prospective client receives a professional, confident, and sales-focused journey from initial contact to confirmed booking.
Responsibilities
- Handle and convert incoming enquiries quickly and to company standards, with a focus on maximising conversion rates.
- Diligent and thorough CRM compliance.
- Drive new business through proactive outreach, local networking, and lead-generation activity.
- Conduct professional venue tours that highlight our strengths, overcome objections, and secure bookings.
- Meet with wedding couples and event organisers to finalise details and take payments (handover to operations afterwards).
- Contact client’s post‑event to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
- Update social media channels to increase awareness and generate inbound leads.
- Maintain exceptional accuracy within the prospecting and booking systems to support reporting and KPI achievement.
- Meet and greets as required, encouraging re‑bookings and future sales.
- Contribute sales ideas and business development suggestions in team meetings.
- Obtain deposits, signed contracts, and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Communicate client requirements effectively to the Food & Beverage team for smooth handover.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently promote offerings and upsell where appropriate.
- Adhere to KPIs set by the Sales Manager and consistently work toward exceeding targets.
Qualifications
- A confident, persuasive communicator with a strong sales focus.
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Experience (or strong interest) in social media and marketing for lead generation.
- Competence with basic computer systems and CRM tools.
- A target‑driven mindset with proven success in sales roles.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
- A team player with flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.

Compensation & Working Hours
Proximity to Milton Keynes with free on‑site parking. A contract of between 32‑40 hours per week is available. This role includes some evenings, and regular weekends given we are a hospitality sales business. For context, this would typically look like one evening midweek until circa 7.30pm and approx. 3 in 8 or 4 in 10 weekend days outside of holiday cover. £27k Full time equivalent (40 hours), OTE with comms up to 34k (uncapped aside from operational and membership capacities).
