A parcel delivery company based in Stretford is seeking a Sales Executive to achieve set targets for sales revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of sales experience, familiarity with the parcel delivery sector, and a full UK driving licence. Qualifications

  • More than 2 years' experience in a similar role, specifically regarding account management and new business sales.
  • Experience working within the parcel delivery sector is a distinct advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Key Role Responsibilities

Achieve targets set for sales revenue on parcels, sales activity, profitability and product mix at the Sales Executives designated location and in line with DHL eCommerce UK expectations and performance targets.

Responsibilities
  • Find new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, driver referrals.
  • Carry out scheduled visits to decision makers in prospect companies, using learned skills and personal knowledge and experience.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing and conditions to deals whilst ensuring healthy margin and profile mix.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Keep all customer records up‑to‑date within Salesforce CRM.
  • Regularly assess and report on pipeline progress and revenue forecasts.
  • Regularly assess and report on sales activity & conversion rates to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure weekly activity is in line with activity targets and update weekly forecast.
  • Ensure that all account opening procedures are adhered to.
  • Attend sales/ops meetings, team meetings and any other meetings as required by the business.
  • Attend any meetings or training courses as required by the Company.
  • Ensure all areas required for handing over an account to a FAM are met and provide feedback to ensure account success.
  • Maintain liaison with operational management and customer services regarding customer service issues and flag at‑risk accounts.
Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.
