  • Respond to enquiries from schools and distributors, providing clear advice and recommending the right Jolly Learning products.
  • Deliver engaging product demos (online and occasionally in person), showcasing how Jolly Phonics and related resources support teaching and learning.
  • Create accurate quotations and proposals, ensuring pricing, discounts, and terms are correct and clearly presented.
  • Manage your sales pipeline in the CRM, keeping opportunities, contacts, and activities up to date and producing regular reports.
  • Maintain and manage product information and data feeds (e.g. pricing, ISBNs, metadata) across key systems and platforms.
  • Support key campaigns and promotions, working closely with the marketing team to follow up leads and convert interest into sales.
  • Attend events, conferences, and training days (UK and occasionally overseas) to represent Jolly Learning and build new relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, marketing, operations, and finance) to ensure smooth ordering, fulfilment, and after‑sales support.
  • Progress to Key Account Manager, managing global accounts and helping to lead strategic growth in key regions.
  • Contribute to the development of new products, campaigns, and international initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales or account management, ideally in education, publishing, EdTech, or a related sector.
  • Strong communication skills – confident on the phone, in video calls, and in written communication.
  • Relationship‑building ability – you enjoy getting to know customers, understanding their needs, and building trust over time.
  • Self‑motivation and ownership – you're organised, can manage your own workload, and follow through without constant supervision.
  • Confidence presenting to individuals and small groups (e.g. school leaders, teachers, distributors).
  • Good numeracy and attention to detail, especially when preparing quotes, pricing, and reports.
  • Comfort working with digital tools – CRM systems, Excel/Sheets, online meeting platforms, and cloud‑based document sharing.
  • Desirable: Experience in education sales, ELT, or school resources.
  • Desirable: Experience using Stison or similar publishing/sales management systems.

  • Supportive, mission‑driven team: Work closely with colleagues who care about education and impact
  • Product & role training: Full induction into our programmes, systems, and sales processes
  • Room to grow: Clear pathways into more senior sales and account management roles
