A successful and expanding UK food manufacturer, recognised for delivering premium-quality food products, is looking for a talented Sales Executive to join its commercial team. Supplying into major supermarkets, the business is enjoying strong growth and is now seeking a driven individual to help take it to the next level.

Sales Executive Role:

As Sales Executive, you'll be a key part of the commercial function — supporting the management and growth of customer accounts across retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels. Working closely with senior commercial leaders, you'll help identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and contribute to the continued success of a thriving UK food manufacturer.

Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales growth across a diverse product range.
  • Provide administrative support to senior members of the commercial team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Research and approach prospective customers to expand market reach.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and commercial reports.
  • Collaborate with NPD and production teams to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Participate in regular product taste panels to uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and site visits where required.
Sales Executive Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in a client-facing role.
  • A natural communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Experienced in sales administration and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
  • Commercially minded, target-driven, and solutions-focused.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced in sales or commercial roles, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
