Job summary

Taylor Wimpey is recruiting for a customer-focused role responsible for delivering a first-class experience to buyers of new homes. The role aims to meet or exceed sales targets while maximising profit for the business.

You will manage the entire purchase process, coordinate with mortgage brokers and solicitors, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders. Weekend and bank holiday work will be required.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience in housing industry required.
  • Strong customer service and sales excellence.
  • Good self-management and organization.
  • Proficient with computers and office software.
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of development, presentation and purchase process.
  • Be the reference point for purchasers and stakeholders from first contact to completion.
  • Promote and arrange mortgage brokers and solicitors to ensure efficient service and deadlines.
  • Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements are met on time.
  • Undertake market research, price benchmarking, advertising and PR to generate the sales pipeline.
  • Proactively search for target customers, create appointments and follow up on leads to hit targets.
  • Escort customers through to move-in and arrange aftercare at defined intervals.
  • Ensure health and safety of customers and on-site personnel in line with policy.
  • Follow and adhere to procedures and Sales Manual.

Job Summary

To take ownership for the delivery of a first-class customer experience to all parties involved in the purchase of a new home from Taylor Wimpey. To ensure sales meet or exceed target and profit is maximised for the business.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the development, all aspects of presentation and the entire purchase process.
  • Becomes the reference point for the purchaser, and all other internal and external interested parties from the first contact through to the completion of the house sale.
  • Promote and provide for the use of company-recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to ensure an efficient service for the customer to achieve purchasing deadlines.
  • Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements are met according to company policies and agreed time frames.
  • Ensure that market research, price benchmarking, advertising, incentives, PR and other marketing events are undertaken proactively to provide the correct pipeline to fulfil agreed sales targets.
  • Proactively search for target customers and create appointments. Follow-up leads to ensure that sales targets are met and customer satisfaction is measured to the level required by Taylor Wimpey.
  • Undertake inspections and introduce the customer to their new home, ensure familiarisation, and ensure the aftercare of those customers at defined intervals following their move-in date.
  • Ensure the health and safety of customers, colleagues and other parties while on site in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
  • Follow and adhere to company [procedures, standards of performance, and the business unit Sales Manual.

The role requires regular weekend and bank holiday working.
