Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our Go-To-Market (GTM) team at Microlise! In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing deals with prospective customers.

By utilising the MEDDPICC sales methodology, you will ensure a structured, value-driven approach to sales, driving predictable revenue growth. This is a dynamic and results driven role, ultimately driving new business sales of our Microlise Delivery Management Solutions to SMEs.

What you will be doing
  • Identify and qualify SME prospects that will benefit from Microlise’s delivery management solutions
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation, following up marketing generated leads to closing deals and onboarding new customers
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new customers
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions using MEDDPICC to uncover customer needs and pain points
  • Present tailored solutions that align with customer requirements and demonstrate strong ROI
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and presales, to drive customer engagement
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce CRM
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies
What we are looking for
  • Evidenced experience in B2B sales, ideally selling SaaS or logistics/transport technology solutions to SMEs
  • Strong understanding and practical application of the MEDDPICC (or similar) sales methodology
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient with a hunter mindset
  • Ability to open doors with prospects and sell the value of Microlise
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting
  • Passion for technology and how it can transform business operations
  • Experience in logistics, fleet management, or supply chain industries
  • A network of SME contacts within relevant sectors
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
