Job summary

Dundonald Toyota, part of the Lookers and Charles Hurst group, is recruiting a Sales Executive to join our friendly team. You will focus on new and used car sales, delivering first‑class customer service while building rapport with customers and colleagues.

No prior motor trade experience is required—strong customer service skills and a can‑do attitude are enough. You’ll receive full training, a structured pay scale with uncapped commission, and the chance to drive a company car after six months.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a target-driven environment.
• Previous sales or motor trade experience is not essential; strong customer service experience is valued.
• Full UK driving licence is required for test drives and vehicle viewing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via email, phone and in person.

• Arrange and accompany customers on test drives.
• Negotiate and close vehicle sales.
• Complete all relevant sales paperwork.

Sales Executive - Dundonald Toyota

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission)

Plus: Eligible to drive a company car after successful completion of a 6-month probation period

Hours: 44 hours per week; Monday–Wednesday 9–5.30pm, Thursday 9–8pm, Friday 9–5pm and Saturday 9–3pm on a rota

Dundonald Toyota is recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our hard-working and friendly team. Specialising in new and used car sales, you will work alongside our experienced sales professionals, learning the role from the ground up while delivering first‑class customer service.

As part of our sales team, you’ll be a strong communicator and a real people person, able to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike. Our Sales Executives are key points of contact for customers, taking the time to understand their wants and needs and ensuring an exceptional experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate

You’ll have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the motivation to succeed in a target‑driven environment. Previous sales or motor trade experience is not essential – if you have strong customer service experience and the drive to learn, we’ll give you the tools to build a successful career in automotive sales.

A full UK driving licence is required, as you’ll have the opportunity to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
