Salary: £45,000 basic + £15,000 OTE (Uncapped Commission)

Total OTE: £60,000+

The Role

As Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of driving new business and managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and nurturing lasting client relationships.

You’ll work across diverse industrial sectors, partnering with clients to deliver tailored fabrication solutions that solve real-world challenges. This is a field‑based, autonomous role suited to someone who thrives on freedom, accountability, and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales process – from initial contact to contract.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with company growth goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, production, project management) to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into effective fabrication solutions.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Report regularly on performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in steel fabrication, metalwork, or a related engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Solid knowledge of engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong new business development track record – you know how to prospect, network, and win.
  • Technically minded with the ability to understand fabrication processes and communicate them clearly.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and highly organised, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
