The purpose of the Role: The role is to grow the revenues & margins for a set of customers who predominantly source from the Cyber Security Business Unit. You will be expected to consistently deliver exceptional customer service by thinking creatively, displaying enthusiasm, being positive and putting our customers and our people at the heart of everything you do to achieve the best possible results.
Objectives
- Develop strategic relationships with partners with multiple and single decision-maker contacts within the account base.
- Build upon the current partner base that will expand partner numbers and grow revenues for the solutions division.
- Implement clear & simple business plans with key targeted partners.
- Ensure accounts are correctly profiled in our CRM.
- Where an opportunity exists introduce other divisions from Northamber into the accounts.
- Drive and communicate vendor or Northamber promotions within our customers.
- Generate, qualify and follow up leads within the Northamber system, bringing such leads to a timely conclusion with tracking information.
- Work as part of a team with internal sales, product and sales management sharing information and maximising effectiveness within the partner base.
- Work with the product management & presales team to get appointments and provide trip reports from visits.
- Drive and sell services & training through the partner base.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an expert service in your field.
- Deliver against organisational and personal KPI’s including revenue, margin and activity levels.
- Develop new and maintain customer relationships.
- Develop, qualify and follow up on sales leads with new and existing clients.
- Follow up e-shots and marketing activities with prospective clients where applicable.
- Promote Northamber services and accessories on every sale to increase margin and value where applicable.
- Continually update and maintain records of progress in OrderWise.
- Own responsibility for the accuracy, integrity and completeness of the database.
- Attend applicable training sessions provided by vendors and product teams; request training for areas you are less confident in.
- Develop a positive and pro-active relationship with sales, product and other supporting team members.
- Seek and share commercial information on competitors, in order to benchmark rates and ensure that our bids are competitive, whilst achieving profitability.
- Represent Northamber by attending shows and events when required.
