Sales Estimator - Fire Sprinkler Systems | Remote (UK) | Up to £50,000 + Bonus

Are you a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer or Estimator looking to move into a more commercially focused role? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing fire protection contractor, working remotely from anywhere in the UK.

The Sales Estimator Role

As a Sales Estimator (Sprinkler Systems), you'll take ownership of pricing and tendering projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. You'll collaborate with design and project teams to develop accurate costings, interpret technical specifications, and provide expert input throughout the tender process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing estimates for fire sprinkler, wet riser, dry riser, and fire suppression systems.
• Reviewing drawings, layouts, and specifications to determine pump and tank sizing, pipework design, and headspace requirements.
• Conducting hydraulic calculations and ensuring compliance with BS EN 12845, LPCB, and NFPA standards.
• Working with clients, consultants, and suppliers to clarify tender details and optimise bids.
• Supporting design & build tenders and contributing to commercial decision‑making.

You'll need:

• Proven experience in fire sprinkler design, estimating, or cost engineering.
• Strong understanding of tank/pump sizing, pipework layouts, and system design.
• Proficiency in AutoSPRINK, Canute, or similar design software.
• Confidence using internal estimating tools and spreadsheets.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Familiarity with FIRAS or LPCB standards (advantageous).
