Sales Estimator, Fire Suppression Systems

Location: Manchester (M24 1GQ)

Salary: Negotiable salary plus commission plus company car/car allowance

Are you an experienced Sales Estimator with a background in sprinkler systems? Do you have a passion for providing accurate solutions and building strong client relationships?

We are UK Sprinklers, a proud member of the PTSG family, and we're looking for a proactive sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be key in driving sales and ensuring our clients receive the highest-quality fire protection solutions.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential sprinkler systems. You’ll work closely with our sales, project management, and technical teams to create comprehensive proposals and coordinate projects from initial estimation to final delivery.

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for sprinkler systems.
  • Generate sales leads.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the sales cycle.
  • Create professional and competitive proposals without compromising safety, quality or functionality of sprinkler systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Who we're looking for
  • You have proven experience in the fire suppression industry. You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and have up-to-date knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards (BS EN 12845, BS 9251, BS 9990).
  • You should be confident in driving sales to achieve targets and earning bonuses on sales.
  • Experience with sprinkler design software such as SprinkCAD, AutoCAD, or Revit is a plus.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for conducting site visits.
