Job summary

Vision Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Sales Estimator in Buckingham to manage the process from initial enquiry to tender submission. You will liaise with clients to ensure requests are met on time and that cost estimations remain highly accurate throughout the bid cycle.

Experience in engineering estimation or a willingness to learn is valued, with full training provided. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Sales Estimator

Buckingham

Salary: £35,000

We are a well established market leader specialising in the design, supply and installation of underground pipe systems and multiutilities and are proud to have participated in more than 5000 projects across a diverse portfolio of clients.

We now have a requirement for a Sales Estimator who will work with our customers from initial enquiry through to tender submission. The Sales Estimator will liase with clients to ensure all requests are met on time, ensuring high accuracy of costs at all times maximising order.

• Ensuring all tenders are priced accurately
• Determining full extent of customer requirements and specification & drawings
• Carrying out site survey visits
• Designing pipe routes using manufacturers recommendations & guidelines
• Producing estimates using bespoke computer software package
• Producing and issuing quotation letters

Whilst previous engineering and estimating experience would be advantageous, we are happy to provide full training to a candidate with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and good academic results, particularly within a technical or engineering discipline
